As most or all of you probably know, we lost a legend today. Alexander McQueen committed suicide earlier today and was found dead in his London home shortly after. I thought it was appropriate to dedicate this post to him and his work by doing a brief tribute. I'm going to NYC tomorrow to go to Fashion Week for the first time, but I think it will be a different experience than other years, as many will be mourning the industry's loss.

It has been rumored that his suicide was due to his immense grief after the loss of his mother, may she rest in peace as well.
